This is just to show you all what I've been working on for the past couple of weeks... it is intended to be a fighting game engine of which a more degraded version would be my final year project while the better one could make me a millionare!!!

Fighting games are probably one of the most popular and long standing genres in the Gaming World, the genre dating back to as far as 1976. In the latter part of the 1990s, the genre, as with many other genres, moved to having more titles in three dimensions, although keeping many of the other aspects of the genre such as gameplay and camera appearance the same. There were some changes during this time, one aspect being that of more developments in artificial intelligence (AI).

The fighting game engine project intends to investigate the core functionality of 3D fighting games, mostly in regards to the use of AI techniques, taking into consideration the different techniques and tools that may be used in creating them (such as core parts of a game engine) as well as their aspects and features (these including but not limited to scripting systems and finite state machines in regards to the game engine). The project would also look into the common features of the core functionality of 3-D fighting games with that of other types of games.

More on this with previews to tests and builds soon... later!
